Versital were delighted to work with JMDA Interior Design on the newly refurbished Chilworth Arms pub in Southampton.
This country Pub is situated in the rural idyllic suburb of Chilworth, Southampton. The Chilworth Arms is the first of the new concept, Premium Country Pubs created for the huge restaurant, bar and pub operators Mitchells and Butlers. The concept generated by JMDA was created through on trend style, quality fittings and aspiring artwork and features.
“With a concept that really focuses on customer experience the detail and finishes have been focal from the outset. The fashion lead and quality focused space uplifts the existing boozer into a modern world of premium pub dining. Precious metal finishes, quality hand stitched leather, dramatic bespoke furniture, abstract artwork and illuminated bronze finished wine walls are all aspects that create a space that feels unique and exclusive to each customer passing through its’ doors. The dramatic bar creates the focal point of the pub, surrounded by comfy, eye catching booth seating and flexible dining throughout. The exclusive VIP area is zoned with quality oak, lead and glazed doors, highlighting desire and opulence, the main focus of the original concept for Premium Country Pubs.”

As well as a fabulous bespoke marble bar top, Versital also manufactured bespoke table tops with a custom champagne bucket built in, as well as the washroom vanity tops. The finish chosen for all of them was the ever popular ‘Arabesque’ a brilliant marble alternative and dead ringer for Carrara marble.
